Muree is also called the Queen of Hills. Muree Pakistan is one of the most famous and popular hill station in Pakistan. Its about 50Km from capital city Islamabad.  Thousands of peoples from all around the Pakistan Comes for the Trip of muree.

History

There are some view points related to the meaning of the word “Muree”, one theorist says that the word” Muree” Drive from the word Marrhi (which means ridge) and another theorist says that it drive from the Turkish word Mar (which means meadow). The present spelling Muree was adopted In 1875,

Muree hill station was constructed by the British when the rule in subcontinent, This beautiful full place is lies between Kahsmier Point and Pindi Point.

MUREE MALL ROAD

The most famous area in Muree is the Muree Mall Road, This is the place where Hotels, Restaurant, market for shopping is available. The people who come for the trip of muree chose their place to stay is Muree Mall Road.

The area of Mall road is consist of about 2 KM.

 River jehlam is in the east of Tehsil Muree and seprate it from Azad Kashmir,  Abotabad is in the north of Muree
